Why this property
This Sezze Romano property provides its guests the best of several unique worlds that don't often intertwine in a vacation home. There is its close proximity to the eternal city of Rome by train or car, a short drive to the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, day trips to Pompeii and other ancient places. There is also Sezze, the picturesque Italian village, one can explore upon exiting the villa's gates. There are incredible restaurants, beautiful wine shoppes, jewelry stores, no tourists, and your own private villa with a swimming pool made of Travertine with a view like no other. There is also a 17th century Castelletto to admire from the terrace.
The entire villa has been renovated and restored from top to bottom.
Our newly renovated kitchen floor is colorful Italian tile. For our countertops, we chose white Carrara marble. We have a state of the art restaurant quality Espresso machine, as well as both an American coffee maker and French press. As one of our owners is a chef, she has chosen Calphalon cookware, and all the essential cooking instruments any chef would need. Feel free to prepare a feast with local fresh seafood, meats and produce. The stove is gas, and there is a dishwasher.
Or you can always call Alessandro Castaldi, Chef/Owner of Hostaria Il Gobbo. Alessandro and his staff will prepare a special meal for you, and you won't have to lift a finger, only your glass.
Our villa accommodates 10 people. We have 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, one room with a queen bed and one room with twin beds. On the 3rd floor we have two rooms, both with queen beds. Our 2 memory foam cots are perfect for children or extra guests. They easily fit in the queen rooms closest to the bathroom on each floor. We also have a bed railing for children, as well as a pack n/play for our younger guests.
All bedding is of the highest quality and our sheets have a high thread count. We have selected our bedding thinking of our guests who deserve the finest. Each bedroom has 2 white waffle weave 100% cotton robes hanging in the armoires. There is also an Italian hair dryer in each bedroom. No need to pack a hair dryer or robe. (FYI the hair dryers only work in the bathrooms.)
